What's Ahead for Week 8?

Welcome to Week 8!

There are only three weeks left of term 1! These next few weeks I am sure the children will be very tired - so do not worry, it is normal!

In Prep we are learning about families. We have talked about families and how all families are different, we have named and have drawn pictures to show the people in our families and we are now looking at where families live.

It would be great if you could send a photo or even a note in your child's KIT folder with the people in your immediate families. It can be tricky for some children - this will be very helpful.

This week we are learning:

Letter/Sound Focus: Ee (Elephant, Exit)!

Number of the Week: Number 8

Maths Focus: Length (We are looking at informal units of measurement)

HASS: We are looking at our families and a special place.
