What's Ahead for Week 11?

Welcome to Week 11!

Welcome to our final week of Term 2! We have had a wonderful term of learning and growth. Week 11 is going to be a very busy and exciting week in Prep. Please read the information below:

Monday is our SPORTS CARNVIAL.

A note was sent home in each child’s KIT folder with information about the day. The students will be competing in a variety of activities throughout the day. Your child can wear their house coloured shirt. Please note that this is not a free dress day, students are required to wear school shorts, hat and shoes. Please make sure your child brings their water bottle on this day. You are more than welcome to come and watch your child – Spectators must remain behind the track markers and barriers. Spectators are not permitted in the student area or to run with competitors. Sno-Cones will be available on the day for $4.

Tuesday is our EXCURSION to LONE PINE KOALA SANCTUARY.

We have been counting down the days and are VERY excited!!

Please arrive at school on Tuesday by 8.30am. We are leaving the school (on the bus) after the roll has been marked. We will not be attending morning assembly on Tuesday. Students will be directed to come straight down to the classroom. You can drop your child down to our classroom after 8.20am.

Please make sure your child is in their full school uniform including their HAT! Please apply sunscreen before coming to school on Tuesday.

Students are required to carry their own backpack on the day. Please choose a smaller option bag to bring to Lone Pine. Our normal school bag will be too big for the day. Inside the backpack will be your child’s morning tea, lunch and their drink bottle. There will not be opportunities for your child to buy souvenirs or food from Lone Pine.

We have four parent helpers coming to Lone with us. Mrs Delaney and Ms Andrews will also be coming along with us. We will arrive back to school at the normal pick up time at 2.55pm.

Friday is 100 DAYS OF SCHOOL!

On Friday we will be celebrating 100 days of school! We will be doing lots of fun activities, dancing and watching a movie - your child can bring along a teddy for our movie afternoon!

Friday will be a great way to celebrate being at school for 100 days!
