What's Ahead for Week 7?

Welcome to Week 7!

We have a very busy few weeks ahead!

Please read the important information below.

I am away Monday until Wednesday hopefully returning on Thursday due to unforeseen circumstances. Ms Donna Coombe will be looking after Prep Maroon until I return.

CONGRATULATIONS!!! I would like to say a HUGH congratulations to Prep Maroon on their AMAZING assembly!! Wow! You are all so wonderful and did an incredible job! It is amazing to see the growth in confidence since the beginning of Prep in every student. I was super excited for you all!! On Thursday we watched our assembly together and had a treat for the wonderful job that everyone did!

Morning Prayer: In Week 8, Prep Maroon will be doing morning prayer at morning assembly. I will be choosing two children (1 to read and 1 to be a special helper). I will post on the blog who the children are. I will also send home the readers prayers this Thursday.

Parent-Teacher Interviews: We now have less than 3 weeks to go!! There are no official parent-teacher interviews this term. However, I would love to meet with a number of parents before the children transition to Year 1. I will be sending out an email this week to those parents. If you do not receive an email and would like to meet that is fine. Please send me an email and we can work out a time that suits. If you have any questions or concerns regarding the transition to Year 1 please let me know.

Christmas Concert: Tuesday 27th November. A note and permission slip was sent home on Friday. If you could please return the slip so we have an idea on the children who will be attending. Prep Maroon are asked to meet at our Prep Maroon classroom at 6pm-6.15pm and to be dressed in their clothes. We are asking students to please wear a Christmas coloured shirt (red, green or white – a pattern or print is fine) and black or denim bottoms. We cannot wait to see you there!

Report Cards and Portfolios: Report cards will be available online on the Parent Portal from 3pm onwards on Wednesday 5th December. The term 4 portfolio will also be sent home for you to keep, along with a class allocation letter of your child’s class for 2019. Please return your portfolio J

Last day of school: The last day of Prep is approaching! Please note that on Friday 7th December school will conclude at 11.30am. Please ensure you organise early collection for your child on this day.
